Brett Ozanne runs WA’s premier Kayak Fishing website Yakfishwest, as well as writing the Kayak Angler column and several feature articles for Western Angler magazine. He is heavily involved in promoting Kayak Fishing in WA and also competes in the ABT Kayak Rounds as well as the WA Bream Classic events as a non-boater.

With so many aspects to my fishing, the range of rods at my disposal is as diverse as my fishing requirements. From chasing Black Bream in the ABT Kayak Series and the WA Bream Classic events, the Vapors in 6’ to 7’ offer a rod for all types of structure fishing, the 7’ for long casts on the flat’s, to the 6’ Vapors impeccable accuracy in tight structure. At the other end of the spectrum, on my annual Exmouth Trips the low down grunt of the Viper allows me to extract hard fighting reef fish from their coral bombies, and the Godzilla allows me to troll heavy baits and large lures with the extra balls to tough it out with open ocean pelagic species. Nitro Rods have it all, why would I use anything else!
