The original Nitro Crankbait, a firm favorite with anglers pursuing native species, has just received an ‘Upgrade’. Without taking from what’s made the Crankbait a winner, we’ve added a few refinements just to ensure that it remains at the forefront of exceptional rod design. We’ve added a split Tennessee grip for greater comfort and reduced weight; matched to a gloss Nitro-branded reel seat. We’ve utilized Fuji anti-fouling BLDBAG Alconite ultra-light sloped tip section guides with a Fuji BMNAT  Alconite tip guide – designed to encourage braid ‘slip-over’ and so minimize tangles and tip breakages and break-offs. We’ve added purple trim-work to the guides and purple bromides to the distinctive but understated Nitro emblem. And finally, an embroidered Cordura protective carry case and bag. But while the Crankbait Upgrader has eye-catching appeal, it’s lost none of the qualities that made the original Crankbait a winner, such as its all-day ease of casting, or its amazing skull-dragging power around timbered structure.
